This is a special treat for pastors in the DFW area (Tarrant, Sommerville and Erath Counties), to have lunch with Dr. Conrad Mbewe, pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia. Pastor, we encourage you to make this a special date with your wife. Come and enjoy good Texas BBQ, great fellowship with likeminded brothers and sisters in Christ, and hear words of encouragement from God's Word through Dr. Conrad Mbewe. Dr. Conrad Mbewe has served as pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church since 1987 and has been the principal of the Lusaka Ministerial College during various periods of its existence. He is a graduate of the Cape Town Baptist Seminary in South Africa. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Pastoral Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Missions. He is currently involved in the establishment of the African Christian University, and is a board member of the Central Africa Baptist College and the Covenant College Zambia. Conrad is the author of several books, one of them being Pastoral Preaching – Building a People for God (2017). He is also the editor of Reformation Zambia. He is married to Felistas and they have 6 adult children, and some grandchildren.
